A part of the numerous activities that will take place on the Gothic Route during this season is an acamedic conference, which we organize regularly every two years, traditionally in the premises of the Rožňava Historical Town Hall. It will take place on 25 to 26. August 2022.

The fifth year will be different from the previous ones. The conference will be international for the first time, and works in the field of research and restoration of the medieval sacral heritage will be presented by domestic and foreign experts from the Visegrad Four countries. This way we place the monuments of the Gothic Route in the Central European context, in which they have their place of honor. We will not disappoint the regular visitors of the conference, part of the lectures will be devoted to the latest findings from the research of the Gothic Route in Gemer and Malohont. On Saturday 27.8. you will be able to take part in excursion around the churches of the Štítnik circuit with a guide of experts.
